Auto-Mix was rebuilt against Apple Music's own transition table, read out of iOS 26, iOS 27 and macOS. Every blend now follows Apple's real gain curves and bar-length windows instead of an approximation, and the transitions no longer break. Five faults were found and fixed by measuring the two decks directly, on a phone, with Dolby Atmos and AirPods: a two-second stall on every Atmos transition, a quarter-second of the new song's start being swallowed by the fade, a failed Atmos stream that stopped the next track from ever being ready, songs being cut several seconds short when the next one was still loading, and a four-second mute a few seconds after each mix. Dolby Atmos also now engages on songs the queue mixes into, not only ones you tap.
